Born in Detroit, Michigan, Nate Armbruster has been doing stand-up comedy since before he even had a driver’s license. His quick wit, subtle humor, and laid-back, charismatic, style is a hit with audiences across the country and has earned him a spot at numerous comedy festivals. He has opened for comedians such as Mark Normand, Nikki Glaser, Bert Kreischer, Ryan Hamilton, Tim Meadows, and TJ Miller.

Camila Ballario is an Argentine-born comedian from Michigan. Voted ‘Best Comedian in Washtenaw County’ in 2020, winner of ‘Best of Fest’ at the 2021 Big Pine Comedy Festival, and ‘Best of Fest’ at Laugh After Dark Comedy Festival in 2022. Camila has been entertaining crowds far and wide with her fresh brand of stand-up, where she often joins her ideas with songs to give you a unique look into her perspective on the realities of being a woman in her 30s.
Comedy legend Maria Bamford was the first female comic to have two half-hour “Comedy Central Presents” specials and starred alongside Patton Oswalt, Zach Galifianakis, and Brian Posehn in the Comedy Central series “The Comedians of Comedy” and Netflix’s “Comedians of Comedy: The Movie.” She also created and starred in the cult web series “The Maria Bamford Show,” in which she plays all the characters. The 2014 winner of the American Comedy Award for Best Club Comic, Bamford is also known for her prolific voiceover work on shows including “Big Mouth,” “BoJack Horseman,” “Bob’s Burgers,” “Adventure Time,” and PBS’s Emmy-winning series “Word Girl.” She played DeBrie Bardeaux on Netflix’s “Arrested Development” and had a recurring role on the ABC hit series “Fresh Off the Boat.”
Tiffany “T.Barb” Barber is a comedian, mother, entrepreneur, author, radio personality, producer, content creator and vegan chef, who used laughter to get through life in the rough streets of Detroit. As a first generation college graduate Tiffany broke the curse of incarceration in her family and never allowed the odds to beat her. Always known for being funny and keeping a smile, she discovered stand up comedy & has been blazing stages since! Her charismatic & versatile delivery makes her a fan favorite sure to crack any crowd! TBarb’s unique delivery, and diverse perspective makes her “The One To Watch” as the next comedy star.
Daryl Bean performs all over SE Michigan and is also a co-producer of Sitting Down with Stand Ups. He’s appeared at Whole Hearted Winery, Comedy Experiment, and many other venues.
Andy Beningo was named “Best Comedian” by both the Detroit Metro Times and HOUR Detroit magazine, and one of the 40 Best Up and Coming comedians in the country. He has appeared on AXS Gotham Comedy Live, CMT’s Next Big Comic, and his 45 min Drybar Comedy special currently has over 7 million views on social media!
Ryan Brown is an up and coming stand-up comedian who uses “his little comedy thing” as an excuse to annoy and amuse his family. No subject is off limits and everything is hilarious.
Bill Bushart has performed at the prestigious Odd Ball Comedy Fest at DTE, headlined Michigan’s Brew HaHa and LaughFest in Grand Rapids. He’s worked with stand up greats Gilbert Gottfried, Mark Normand and Roy Wood, Jr., among many others. Bill is a driving force in the Michigan stand up community and a performer at comedy clubs, theaters, bars, and bowling alleys, throughout the Midwest. Bushart was named Funniest Comic in Detroit by readers of the Metro Times and HOUR Detroit Named him Best of Detroit Stand Up (2019). Upon learning of the unrelenting sausage-fest that is the comedy world, Adrianne Chalepah formed the first femme-powered Native American stand-up comedy group, formerly “Ladies of Native Comedy.” Her early days of stand-up began in college. Upon graduation, she teamed up with “49 Laughs Comedy,” and toured the U.S., performing at tribal casinos, conferences, and private events. Adrianne is also an actress, seen in Season 2 of FX’s “Reservation Dogs,” and Peacock’s “Rutherford Falls.” A 2021 “Yes and Laughter Lab Finalist,” she holds a BA in English Communications and an MFA in Screenwriting. She’s also a mother of four and always drowsy.
Matt Cobos is a stand-up comedian and one-dude party from Denver, CO. I mean, look at him. That’s a dude that got straight A’s in partying, and straight F’s in everything else. Oh, and he says “dude” and “hell yeah” WAY too much- and it kicks ass. Matt is a pro at Comedy Works Denver, co-hosts the show Shots Fired with Mike Stanley, and has a wild fun podcast called “cobos Patrick podcast” with Patrick Richardson. He’s also opened for a bunch of rad comics. Go see him if you think having fun rules. Hell yeah dude!
Matt Conn has performed all over the country including the World Famous Hollywood Comedy Store and is a regular at One Night Stan’s and Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle where he was a finalist in the Detroit to L.A. competition. He’s been described as having a whimsical balance of witty observations combined with boyish charm. Matt’s clean and clever humor strikes a chord with audiences of all ages
Kara Coraci is a Detroit based comedian with over 20+ years experience in television, stand-up comedy and improv, including training at the nationally recognized Groundlings Theater and a producer at The Jerry Springer Show. She has worked alongside comedians Pauly Shore, Tommy Davidson, Josh Blue, & Dave Coulier at various clubs including Helium, Mark Ridley’s & Louisville Comedy Club.
How does one describe Sal Demilio? He is Ray Romano meets Tony Soprano. He is Rocky Balboa meets the Godfather. He is Al Capone launching a tommy gun assault on your funny bone. Sal has performed at some of the top clubs in the nation, such as Caroline’s in New York, The Comedy Store in LA and Zanies in Chicago. He performs in Las Vegas and is a regular at the top clubs in his home state of Michigan, including the Comedy Castle in Detroit, One Night Stan’s in Waterford and the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase. During Sal’s twenty plus years in the comedy business, he has worked with some of the most recognizable names in comedy. He has toured with Louie Anderson, Dave Coulier, Jimmy Walker, Nick Dipaolo and Kathleen Madigan, just to name a few.
Ann Duke is a favorite of “women of a certain age” who can relate to the trials and tribulations of being single and navigating middle age. Her observations on generational differences and relationships are clever and poignant. For younger audiences she’s your Mom’s sassy, sexy best friend. She has performed at comedy shows and festivals across the region including Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, One Night Stan’s, The Traverse City Comedy Club and the Detroit Women of Comedy Festival. She has appeared with national headliners Nathan Timmell, Lynne Koplitz, Mike Geeter and Mike Bonner among others.
Dean Edwards an American actor, comedian, and writer best known for his two-year tenure as a cast member of “Saturday Night Live.” Celebrated for his numerous remarkable celebrity impressions including Denzel Washington, Dave Chappelle, Jay-Z, Mo’Nique, Chris Rock, 50 Cent, and Eddie Murphy, Edwards recently showed off his talents in his first comedy special, Netflix’s “Tiffany Haddish Presents: THEY READY, Season 2.” Edwards had supporting roles in “Top Five,” Spiderman 3,” and “Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding” and has had guest appearances on “The Sopranos” and “Deadbeat.” Edwards helped workshop and create the character of Donkey for two years in the DreamWorks Broadway production of “Shrek the Musical,” leading him to be selected as Eddie Murphy’s vocal double as Donkey in other DreamWorks projects. He has voiced multiple roles on Showtime’s “Our Cartoon President” and appeared on Robert Smigel’s new FOX series “Let’s Be Real.” In February 2020, he launched his own podcast called “The Dean Edwards Show,” chosen as the flagship show for the new Digital Podcast Network.

Mike has headlined some of the finest comedy venues in the country and has worked with such outstanding comedians as Kevin Hart, Hannibal Burress, Natasha Leggero, Jim Norton, and Rickey Smiley, to name a few. Mike was featured on Fox Television and Hulu’s comedy showcase “Laughs” (Season 1) and the Detroit episode of “Kevin Hart Presents: Hart Of The City 2” on Comedy Central (Season 2).
Jason Gilleran, along with his stand up comedienne wife Robyn, are Hard G Comedy, Jason has hosted at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle and One Night Stan’s and featured for John Heffron at Traverse City Comedy Club. His 20 years of experience as a Urologist (aka “the Dick Doc”) means he’s seen a few things. Things he can’t unsee. Jason brings a fast pace view of the things he finds funny, like bad food, good music, and an ongoing mid life crisis as a Gen X husband and father. And yes, there are dick jokes.
Robyn Gilleran is a comedian based in Detroit and is the better (looking) half of Hard G Comedy with her husband Jason. This former fat kid and current actor/model is the mother of teenage boys and has a thing or two to say about growing up, motherhood and life in general. She has performed across the US gracing the stages at Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, One Night Stan’s Comedy Club, Traverse City Comedy Club, Off the Hook Comedy Club and Key West Comedy Club as well as Gildas Laughfest, and the Detroit Women in Comedy Festival. She’s sure to catch you off guard and teach you to never judge a book by her cover.
A regular at the acclaimed Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase, Bret Hayden has been charming audiences with quick wit and confident self-deprecation since 2013. He’s worked with some of comedy’s biggest names including Andrew Schulz, Mark Normand, and Gary Gulman. He is also host and creator of the popular show Comedy Rumble.
Melanie Hearn is a fast rising talent on the Metro Detroit comedy scene. She is a native of The “D” who has always enjoyed entertaining people “just cause”. She has been sweeping the scene as Winner of the “Jumpstart your Comedy Career Contest” at Joey’s Comedy Shop, winner of The “Big Money Contest” at Laff Tracks Comedy Club and Finalist in the Woodward Comedy Competition. She has performed across the country and opened for nationally known comedians including Mike Bonner. Melanie has made her presence known around town for her versatile mix of realism and sass. She’s just as nice as she is naughty. Melanie delivers a fun high-energy show that really gets the crowd involved in her act.
Often described as raunchy, irreverent, and a disappointment by her mother, Ella Horwedel has been an energetic force in the Michigan comedy scene for the past five years. She has performed at clubs all over the country, where she explores the difficulties of being a 24-year-old woman through bawdy stories and intimate self-reflection. She has opened for the likes of Eddie Pepitone, Yamaneika Saunders, and Bobcat Goldthwait, and was a featured performer at Laughfest, Altercation Comedy Festival, Des Comedie Festival, and Skankfest South. She most recently won runner-up in Mark Ridley’s Detroit to LA Comedy Challenge.
Called “the most insightful comic in Finland,” ISMO immediately made a splash with his U.S. debut in 2014 at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood, where he won the title of “The Funniest Person in the World.” He has performed to sold-out crowds around the world, including the U.S., Canada, Australia, Mexico, and Europe. Known for his unique observational comedy that makes people see familiar things differently through his new-to-America perspective, ISMO was the first Finnish comedian to perform on “CONAN,” with his clip becoming one of the most-viewed late-night sets of all time at over 106 million views. Jason Jamerson is a Detroit native who has shared the stage with comics like Tony Roberts, Chris Redd and Michael Rapaport to name a few. Jason’s comedy is an experience to behold!
Robert Jenkins combines his quick wit and sharp words with a disarming delivery to leave you wondering if you just heard what you thought you heard. A Detroit native and resident of Lansing, Michigan, Robert has performed at the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, and Laughfest where he was a participant in the Best of the Midwest Comedy Competition. Robert’s comedy albums, “Achievement Unlocked” and “Attempted Salvation” are available on Apple Music, Google Play, and Amazon, and Attempted Salvation can be heard on SiriusXM Radio.
Kevin Johnson is a native Detroiter who uses his urban upbringing to express his unique perspective on the world and everything in it. For the last 10 years he has enjoyed traveling coast to coast spreading smiles to audiences. From dating to work life he finds a hilarious way to tell stories using wit and physical comedy.
Jackie Kashian as been performing stand-up for over 35 years. Last seen on the “Late Late Show with James Corden,” her new special (and album of the same title) “Stay-Kashian” was #1 on Amazon and iTunes and debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Comedy Chart. Kashian has over 75 million listens on Spotify and Pandora. She has two podcasts, including “The Dork Forest,” where since 2006 she’s talked with people about what they love to do, think about, and collect. She also has a podcast with Laurie Kilmartin called “The Jackie and Laurie Show,” where they talk about the thing they both love to do and think about: stand-up comedy.
Northwest Michigan native and New York City-based standup Devin Keast is known for his often-clean, genuine and deadpan style of comedy. A 2016 winner of Gotham Comedy Club‘s new talent competition, and a 2020 addition to New York City’s Comic Strip Live, Keast’s rise as a comedian has been welcomed by audiences everywhere.
Mic Larry, born Larry Williams, has opened for Paul Mooney, Cedric the Entertainer and Mike Epps to name a few. He has performed all over the world including Gotham Comedy Club in New York, VP Town Comedy Corner in Atlanta, The Comedy Store and Comedy Union in LA. He was a stand-in for Cedric the Entertainer in the movie “All’s Fair in Love” and has since appeared on The Comedy Central show Detroiters and in a few movies on Amazon Prime such as BUFFED UP, Birthday behavior, Once upon a time in Detroit, The Mule, The Spot, Da Gram, Instafamous and The Middleman. He has toured with comedian Bruce Bruce and opened for Sinbad. Mic Larry is currently a Radio Personality with a Podcast called Bible Talk With Comedians every Wednesday on WGOD station in Detroit.
Nick Leydorf is a fun-loving Michigan comedian with a quick wit and a third nipple. When he’s not on stage, you can find Nick in his office being a lawyer, paying off his student loans. Described as “funny, adorable, and non-threatening” by one writer, Nick talks about his unrelatable profession in such a relatable way that audiences can’t help but laugh.
Born and raised Battle Creek, Richard left home in 2002, andstarted doing comedy at Crackers Comedy Club and ran around doing open mics till he got his first 20 minutes, then started doing feature sets in bars. He won the Detroit to LA competition and has been working ever since.
Johanna Medranda has opened for comedians Dave Attell, Brody Stevens, Liza Treyger, Stavros Halkias, Nicole Schreiber, and Akaash Singh. She has featured at The Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, The MadHouse Comedy Club, and the infamous Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. You may have seen her on the cover of HOUR Detroit magazine in September 2021 as part of a feature on six outstanding comics in Detroit. Outside of performing stand up, Johanna is the co-founder of Honorary Mentions Comedy, a producer for The Independent Comedy Club, Don’t Tell Comedy Detroit, 313 Comedy, and the host of Each Other’s Mothers podcast.
With more than 20 years as a stand-up comedian, Tom Papa is one of the top comedic voices in the country. Papa has had four hour-long stand-up specials, including the wildly successful Netflix Original “Tom Papa: You’re Doing Great!” His other critically acclaimed specials include “Human Mule,” “Freaked Out” and “Tom Papa Live in New York City,” two of which were directed by Rob Zombie. He’s a regular guest on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast and hosts his own podcast series, “Breaking Bread with Tom Papa.” Papa hosts the daily Netflix radio show “What A Joke With Papa And Fortune” on SiriusXM’s Netflix Channel. A contributing writer to New Yorker Magazine, Papa has released two books and has been a recurring performer on “Live From Here” (formerly “A Prairie Home Companion”) and NPR’s “Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me!” He hosted his own Food Network TV series, “Baked,” and starred opposite Lily Taylor in the film “Paper Spiders” and opposite Matt Damon in “The Informant.” He appeared alongside Michael Douglas and Matt Damon in the HBO film “Behind the Candelabra,” hosted the NBC series “The Marriage Ref,” and had a recurring role opposite Julia Louis-Dreyfus on the CBS series “The New Adventures of Old Christine.” Papa also starred in his own NBC series, “Come to Papa.”
Growing up as the whitest boy on an Indian Reservation, Joshua has a unique perspective on the absurdities of the world. Joshua has lived and worked in Traverse City for 15 years performing Stand-Up in Northern Michigan and around the state for 7 years. Joshua’s style thrives on sarcasm with a touch of comedic driven history lessons.
Bob Phillips is a nationally touring headliner who can be heard daily on Sirius/XM satellite radio’s Laugh USA, Jeff & Larry’s Comedy Roundup, and Rawdog channels. The Detroit News says he, “Looks like a secret agent, but one with a wicked sense of humor.” As one half of the popular Sal & Bob comedy podcast, Bob is sometimes sarcastic, sometimes endearing, but always in charge. Bailey Pope is a New York based Comedian, writer, and actor. She has been featured on Roku as well as World Comedy Expo, Limestone Comedy Fest, New York Comedy Fest and Lookout. She performs regularly at NYC clubs including The Stand, Broadway and Greenwich Comedy Clubs.
Nardos Osterhart has been doing standup since 2012 and won the Funniest Person in Grand Rapids contest in 2013. She competed in the San Francisco Comedy Festival in 2014, and produced a successful one woman show that was included in Laughfest. Nardos also released an album in 2019 that hit #1 in comedy on the ITunes charts. Her humor highlights the absurdities of everyday life, memories from the past, and parenting fails. Her comedic influences are Bill Burr, Nate Bargatze, Maria Bamford, and John Mulaney.
A regular on the Las Vegas Strip, Derek’s act is fast, fresh, and at times, fanatical. He brings the funny with tales about his Irish-Catholic upbringing, divorce, the holidays, and his child-free existence. Cam Rowe is the biggest thing in comedy-Literally! At 6 feet 9 inches tall, he has taken the comedy world by storm as a fresh new face! He was a regular on TRU TV’s Storage Hunters as the security guard known as “the green Mile.” He has also appeared on the hit show Comedy Bang Bang! Cameron touches on real life stories that everyone can relate to. He was a 1st place winner in the Uncle Clyde Comedy Contest at Flappers Comedy Club and The Next Comic Standing Contest at the HaHa Comedy Club in Los Angeles! He has also performed in the U.K. At the world renowned Leicester Comedy Festival! Be sure to watch out for this big guy-he won’t be hard to miss!
Hailing from the Motor City, Roni Shanell is a rising star in comedy. She began her career in 2015 and has been on fire ever since! She’s performed across the country at comedy clubs such as Hollywood Improv, Pittsburgh Improv, Toledo Funny Bone, Caroline’s on Broadway, Detroit House of Comedy, Punchline Comedy Lounge in metro Detroit and the lists goes on. She won Detroit’s Laugh Masters competition in 2018 and was the winner of the 2020 Sway in the Morning Comedy Search. Her stage presence is like no other! Roni Shanell is fun, energetic, and unapologetic!!
Greg Sharp is a stand up comedian from Ann Arbor, Michigan who has performed in bars, bowling alleys and comedy clubs across the country. He is the producer of The Comedy Experiment showcase and has appeared at the North Carolina Comedy Festival. Greg blends a quirky combination of deconstructionist absurdism and off beat observations that have audiences giggling all the way home. He will impress you with his quick wit and sneaky innuendos. Pat Sievert is a comedian from Lansing, Michigan. A veteran of over a decade, Pat has traveled the Midwest bringing his unique perspective to clubs and alternative venues. He won the Funniest Person in Grand Rapids competition in 2019, and opened for Gary Gulman at the Michigan theater in 2022. Pat has also traveled to festivals as far away as California and Alaska. Sievert’s unique point of view will make audiences think and leaves them laughing.
WRY, WITTY, CUNNING, AND CRASS, Detroit native Mike Stanley is all of these things, but none, when put on paper, quite manage to serve the justice dealt by Stanley onstage. Yeah, he’s pretty hilarious, but more than just coarse anecdotes about life and sex, there’s an enviable amount of heart and warmth behind Stanley’s humor. Given his penchant toward brutal honesty, spiced up with a healthy dose of insatiable wit, it’s not difficult to see why Stanley was named “Best Chicago Stand-up Comedian” in a Peoples Choice poll done by the Chicago Reader and “Best Detroit Comedian” by HOUR Detroit Magazine. Originally hailing from Detroit, and after spending a decade honing his craft in the Windy City of Chicago, Mike has been a touring headliner constantly, both domestically and internationally since 2006. Harris Stanton is a American comedian based in Brooklyn. Harris attended Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg South Carolina. In 1996, he was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 52 round of the major league amateur draft. He decided to pursue comedy leading to an almost two decade-long career. Harris tours nationally and internationally including appearances on European television. He has been featured on BET’s comic view, premium Blend and comics unleashed . He recorded a comedy DVD with Patrice O’Neal , “Elephant in the Room”. His own comedy album Naive Innocence was in the top 10 for 2 weeks on the iTunes stand up comedy album charts!

Danielle won Miami’s Funniest and was the first runner-up of ACME’s Comedy Clubs’ funniest person in the Twin Cities. She has been a frequent guest on the Los Angeles-based ‘Dat Phan & Friends and is the regular host of Dubh-Linn’s Pro Comedy Tour and the #1 comic on the Dark Web.
Esteban Touma is a comedian from Ecuador adjusting to life in the US. He was featured on Comedy Central and was part of Clusterfest “Up Next” showcase in San Francisco. His comedy has also been featured on NPR, Sirius XM, The Moth, the NBC Second City Break Out Festival, and the World Comedy Expo. Tam White is a stand-up comic and improv actor from Detroit, MI. She is a resident cast member at Go Comedy Improv Theatre and creator/producer/host of the improv game show ‘Hip-Prov’. Ken Witzgall is an experienced MC and feature in stand up, having performed at Zanies and the Laugh Factory in Chicago, Morty’s in Indianapolis, and the House of Blues in New Orleans, and other venues throughout the Mid-West. Ken can be found working regularly at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase, Mark Ridley’s Comedy Castle, The Independent Comedy Club, as well as the Funny Business Agency and various mics and showcases around Metro Detroit.
Andrew Yang has been called “my favorite!” by one comedy club comment card and much worse by countless others. A staple in the Ann Arbor scene, Andrew is a regular at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase and runs shows at a meadery in Bløm Meadworks and at a punk rock venue in the Blind Pig. His humor is a product of being raised by Asian-American immigrant parents while being terrified of those same Asian-American immigrant parents. He has performed all over the Midwest including theaters, clubs, parking lots, coffee shops, and hopefully a “stage” near you soon!
Chris Young is a frequent performer at comedy clubs, colleges and casinoss as well as corporate shows around the country. He has appeared at the Gilda’s Laughfest in Grand Rapids, the Laughing Skull Festival and the Canton Comedy Festival. His DryBar Special has millions of views. He was the winner of the TV20 Detroit “That’s Funny” Comedy Contest on My Network, as well as a finalist in Dave Coulier’s “Clean Guys of Comedy/Unbleepable Contest.” Chris is also a favorite on radio stations all across the country. He has shared the stage with some of his favorite comics, including Bob and Tom’s Mike Armstrong, Larry Reeb, Heywood Banks, and Dave Coulier.
Matthew Zerilli is a stand-up comedian based in Traverse City, MI. Having been raised between Michigan’s rural Upper Peninsula and the suburbs of Detroit, he has developed an outsider style of comedy that is part social commentary and part absurd report on the human condition. Matthew is a recovering alcoholic, relapsed Catholic, and aspiring narcissist. He has been called the Barry White of Comedy due to the raw, baby-making power of his jokes. He was a featured performer for Tom Green and has also opened for Doug Stanhope, Stuart Huff, and many more. He is co-creator and producer at Kamikaze Comedy, a Northern Michigan Comedy Collective, and co-host of the USS Comedy Open Mic in Traverse City, MI.
